The Honey House
A yellow house built to drive for the pursuit of snow, simplicity and adventure.
Cody Cirillo and Kellyn Wilson, local favorites, build their dream home out of a 1963 Chevrolet 350 Superior for the pursuit of simplicity, skiing and adventure. Over a year in the making, Cody and Kellyn undergo bus breakdowns, countless trips to home depot and long summer days renovating, all for the drive to live alongside their passions. This story follows the couple and their Honey House Bus from Blackfoot, Idaho to Breckenridge, Colorado and Northward, into a direction of shorter days, colder temperatures, not snow but in the search of skiable powder, into a place known as: The Powder Highway.
The Good Couch Mt. Elbert Summit
15 hours of all guts and 1 hour of glory
The Good Couch and its team hike the first ever couch summit to the top of Mt. Elbert, the highest mountain in Colorado standing at 14,440 ft. From the start at 3AM, The Good Couch experiences rolled ankles, altitude sickness and steep rocky terrain that is considered "strenuous" to a hiker with nothing but a backpack. From top to bottom, The Good Couch pushes a 200 pound couch to the summit and back down to the trailhead, all for the purpose to raise money for their non-profit partner: Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.
The Banned Wagon
Irelands hidden secret of music and passion
It is dusk and along the cobble stone streets of Galway, Ireland lay a crowd of people surrounding a irresistible sound of music. The music comes from a 22 year old with grey hair, woman playing the beats of a drum, a long haired violinist, banjos, guitar and a bowed bass. Instead of 'Band,' they use 'Banned' because of the nearby pubs they were banned out of for playing music too aggressively. But it's exactly why the The Banned Wagon draws in crowds of people who scream and clap for more.
